Orange Power Studios

Orange Power Studios serves as the in-house production hub for Oklahoma State University Athletics, providing in-game programming for video boards across all athletic facilities and supporting production efforts for OSU’s third-tier television agreement with Cowboy Sports Properties and Fox Sports Net. A unique aspect of OPS is that students, including myself, have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working directly within the studio, contributing to real-world athletic media production.

I began working at Orange Power Studios in September 2024 and continue to be part of the team. During my time there, I have developed a variety of hands-on production skills. I regularly assist with the setup and teardown of production equipment for each event, ensuring everything is ready for live shows. In terms of camera work, I have operated multiple cameras at different events, capturing shots from various angles to give the director the best possible coverage. Within the studio, I have worked on graphics, queuing promotional and game statistical content, as well as managing replay operations. Additionally, for the TV studio broadcasts, I have handled replay duties, ensuring that important moments are captured and displayed accurately on air.
